The booster club is run by volunteers, and they are needed throughout the season. The success of our swim team depends on the many hours spent by parents who volunteer their time and expertise.
As a swim parent, you are an automatic member of the booster club. There are three levels of membership/involvement:
- Board Member: Have a ‘voting’ position on the booster club board with specific duties. They also lead committees.
- Key Volunteer: Hold a key volunteer position with specific responsibilities. Ex. coordinating fundraisers and team banquet, managing team gear orders, running the team’s social media pages, regularly updating the pool bulletin boards.
- Basic Volunteer: Volunteer your time when needed. Ex. taking on a job at a swim meet, setting up/cleaning up after social events, bringing food to events, and taking pictures at meets/events.

WE NEED VOLUNTEERS! We have big goals this year and some of our board members are retiring after this season, so we need more key volunteers to get involved. As the saying goes, many hands make light work. Contact us for more info.
Board Meetings: The booster board usually meets on the second Tuesday of every month at Boys & Girls Club. All PPSC parents are invited to these meetings. We typically discuss fundraising efforts, expenses, upcoming meets and team events, volunteer needs and team building opportunities.
